ANALISIS PENGARUH ASEAN-CHINA FREE TRADE AREA (ACFTA) TERHADAP KINERJA EKSPOR INDUSTRI TEKSTIL DAN PRODUK TEKSTIL (TPT) INDONESIA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ASEAN-China Free Trade Area (ACFTA), ukuran ekonomi dan jarak ekonomi terhadap kinerja ekspor industri tekstil dan produk tekstil (TPT) antara Indonesia dengan mitra dagang pada periode tahun 2001-2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis gravity model pada data panel melalui pendekatan model fixed effect dengan estimasi feasible generalized least square (FGLS) cross-section seemingly unrelated regression (SUR). Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa pengaruh kesepakatan ACFTA dari sisi tarif berpengaruh negatif terhadap ekspor tekstil dan produk tekstil Indonesia. Sedangkan dari sisi investasi, masuknya foreign direct investment (FDI) melalui kesepakatan ACFTA telah meningkatkan ekspor produk tekstil Indonesia. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa setelah bergabung dalam ACFTA, Indonesia lebih banyak melakukan impor produk tekstil daripada melakukan ekspor. Ukuran ekonomi menunjukkan hubungan timbal balik antara Indonesia dengan mitra dagang, sedangkan jarak ekonomi berpengaruh negatif terhadap ekspor tekstil dan produk tekstil Indonesia.
