ASAM LEMAK OMEGA 3 DAN 6 SEBAGAI POTENSIAL INHIBITOR REAKSI FUSI VIRUS DENGUE

Abstract


Protein envelope virus DENV berperan penting untuk interaksi dengan reseptor sel inang. Menghambat proses fusi protein envelope DENV akan menghambat proses pengikatan pada sel inang untuk perbanyakan virus DENV. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan antiviral baru yang dapat menginhibisi proses fusi protein envelope DENV melalui sisi pengikatan n-octyl-β-D-glucoside (β-OG) menggunakan asam lemak omega 3 dan 6. Proses inhibisi dilakukan menggunakan molekular docking dan uji toksisitas dilakukan untuk menguji keamanan
antiviral. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa asam lemak omega3/6 dapat dijadikan potensial inhibitor proses fusi protein envelope DENV.   Kuat  ikatan  (ΔGikatan) asam eikosapentaenoat  (EPA), asam arakidonat  (ARA), asam gamma linolenic (GLA), asam eikosatrienoat (ETA) dan asam dokosaheksaenoat (DHA) lebih besar dari senyawa pembanding n-octyl-β-D-glucoside (β-OG) dan A5 Kampmann. Uji toksisitas mengindikasikan bahwa asam lemak tersebut aman digunakan oleh manusia.
